If you are serious about your Internet Home Businesses, you have to start to be serious about managing and controlling your time. Life is made up of time, and how well you do in life has a direct connection to how well you can control your time.
Time is a non renewable resource, once a unit of time is gone, it’s gone forever. If you did not benefit from that unit of time, you wasted y that time, and any amount of resources and energy you may have expended as well. Example, you want to make several sales calls, either in person or over the Internet, you set aside 4 hours to accomplish these important task.
Instead of spending the 4 hours on the activities that would of perhaps gotten you some new sales, you were side tracked, ended up doing something else that was not as important, and ended up not giving yourself the chance to gain some new sales. Success for Internet Home Businesses lies in our ability to get the important things we need and want to get done, and leave the less important tasks to a latter date, for someone else to do, or simply delete them all together from our Agenda.
One of the hardest things for Internet Home Businesses owners are to come to grips with is that we can not to it all. It does not matter how many hours there are in a day, days in a week, months in a year, we simply can not do all the tings we would like to do. This adage also applies to our personal lives. When we combine the two, we have a serious shortage of time. What do we do?
We have to start to separate the important things from the less important things. You noticed I said, separate important things from less important things, which means, even some good stuff, some really good stuff, is going to have to be dumped. This is where it gets tough, but tough decisions have to be made if you want to succeed. That is one of the attributes that separates the winners from the losers, the ability to say no to things that we would really like to do, so we can free up the time for the really important things we want in our lives.
If I can offer you only one tid bit of advice here, it would be this;
Make the emotional as well as the intellectual step and start to work on paring down your list of things you want to get out of life. This means looking at your Internet Home Businesses and making sure that what you are attempting to do, you can in fact do. Make sure that you have assed what you want to accomplish in your personal life, allows you enough time left over to adequately work and develop your Internet Home Businesses.
